PI (Polyimide) has a wide range of applications, such as in aerospace, automotive, electrical, and electronics fields, due to its excellent mechanical, thermal, electrical, and chemical properties.
The base polymer of the SCM6R00 series is a polyimide (PI) polymerized from biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA) as a raw material, manufactured by Ube Industries, Japan.
The SCM6R00 series sheets are also hot-pressed in Japan.
Like other PI (polyimide) materials, the SCM6R00 series exhibits excellent heat resistance, low water absorption, and ease of processing, making it widely applicable in various fields at high temperatures.
