Aromatic Polyimide PI (Polyimide) is ideal for a wide range of applications: aerospace, automotive, electronics... etc., as it has extraordinary properties such as good mechanical properties, high heat resistance, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance.
The 8000 series is a raw material for biphenyl tetracarboxylic acid dihydride (BPDA)-based polyimide molding, which is compounded in UBE Industries.This PI-SCM8000 (polyimide) has ultra-high heat resistance and very low water absorption. In particular, it has a thermal deflection temperature of about 480°C, which is the highest level value for all plastics.
