Polyetherimide (PEI) is a clear amber high-performance polymer with good dimensional stability and broad chemical resistance. It has high strength, dimensional stability, and excellent flame retardant and heat resistance. Because this grade can operate continuously at temperatures up to 170°C, PEI is ideal for applications that require consistent insulation performance over a wide bandrate range. PEI profiles are resistant to hydrolysis and chemicals and can withstand repeated autoclaving cycles in the medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology markets.
