PEEK Polyether Ether Ketone

PEEK is a crystalline resin with properties that have never been seen before. It is characterized by high heat resistance (continuous use temperature of 260°C), high flame retardancy, and very good water and corrosion resistance even if it releases less smoke and corrosive gases when burned.

Key Features

Excellent hot water resistance: capable of continuous use in steam at 200~260℃, and can withstand 300℃ for short periods, boasting the highest hot water resistance among plastics.
Exceptionally outstanding corrosion resistance, especially excellent acid and alkali resistance at high temperatures. However, it is not resistant to concentrated sulfuric acid.
Continuous service temperature is 260℃, but the glass transition temperature is only 143℃. Special attention must be paid when used under high load and high temperature conditions.
High flame retardancy with minimal toxic fume emission during combustion.

Application Areas

It is mainly used for semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment parts, inspection equipment parts, and medical parts.
