Ultra-precise machinability, high toughness
When performing precision micro-machining on general-purpose engineering plastic profiles, problems such as burrs can occur. To address this issue, we developed TPS-TOPFINE^®R1000, a product primarily made from PPS, which offers improved dimensional stability and enhanced machinability and hole-drilling capabilities. However, to meet customers' demands for further improved machinability, we developed a new product using PEI as the main raw material, ultimately creating TPS-TOPFINE^®R8220, which offers comparable hole-drilling performance to TPS-TOPFINE^®R1000 while also providing improved toughness.
